About an Audit

TCS initially tests a building’s structural envelope for inefficiencies and sustainability through a “Green” audit. This examination focuses on the most common areas that require improvement: electric consumption, water usage, recycling practices, and heating and cooling losses.

A typical audit ranges from 1-3 hours, based on the square footage of the building.  The testing is conducted with a blower door test, thermal imaging camera and other energy tracking equipment.  Turn Cycle will provide a summary report regarding the audit, along with a recommended plan of action to the homeowner.

The next step in the process is to make the improvements suggested in the summary report.  After discussing with the homeowner, which recommendation will be most effective and affordable, we will then assist in the implementation of required practices, providing oversight for the installations.

Turn Cycle Solutions makes the process easier for you by contacting suppliers and installers to follow out the necessary area(s) of improvement.  Your energy auditor then becomes the project manager for the improvement measure installation to ensure simplicity for you.  Following this, Turn Cycle provides knowledge of the different tax rebates and incentives, which is offered through post consulting.
